2 sticks of butter, room temperature
3 large eggs (4 if small)
1 can Magnolia Brand® Sweetened Condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon almond extract (optional)
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
Pinch of salt
Sliced peaches and whipped cream for serving
instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and butter a loaf cake pan.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer beat the butter until pale and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, scraping the sides and bottom of the bowl. Add the vanilla extract and almond extract and mix again.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. With the speed on low, add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined. Do not over mix.
- Pour the batter into prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or util an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool for 10 minutes.
- Run a knife around the edges of the pan and remove the cake. Transfer to a cooling rack to finish cooling. Serve with sliced peaches and whipped cream.
