- TART FILLING
- 1 (14 oz.) can Magnolia® Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 3 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup chopped salted mixed nuts
- 3/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- CHOCOLATE DRIZZLE
- 1/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoon vegetable shortening
instructions
- HEAT oven to 350ºF. On a floured surface, roll out pie crust into 12-inch circle. Ease into 9-inch tart pan with removable bottom. Trim pastry even with the rim of the pan.
- COMBINE sweetened condensed milk, eggs, butter and almond extract. Stir in nuts and 3/4 cup chocolate chips. Place pastry-lined tart pan on baking sheet. Carefully pour filling into pan.
- BAKE 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool. Melt 1/4 cup chocolate chips and shortening in small saucepan over low heat. Drizzle over tart before serving.
