  • Ingredients
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Magnolia® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) can Magnolia® Evaporated Milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup key lime juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Instructions
  • HEAT oven to 300°F. Heat sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk in medium saucepan until just beginning to boil. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Cool 10 minutes.
  • WHISK egg yolks and lime juice. Whisk constantly while slowly pouring in cooled milk mixture. Divide evenly between 6 crème brûlée dishes, ramekins or small custard cups. Place dishes in large baking pan. Pour boiling water into baking pan until it reaches half way up the side of the dishes.
  • BAKE 45 to 50 minutes or until set. Remove from hot water bath. Cool completely. Cover and chill. Sprinkle top of each custard with about 2 teaspoons sugar. Use propane torch or preheated broiler to melt, brown and harden sugar.
